Abstract |
This paper reviews some of the recent signal conditioning and Interface circuits
for the capacitive type sensors. This paper gives the brief idea of advantages
and limitations of interface circuits for the various capacitive sensors. The
sensor output may be either current or voltage but it has to be converted to the
desired output range only by the signal conditioning circuit. Signal
conditioning circuits provides the analog output in the desired range; this can
be converted to digital through Analog to Digital converter. The signal
conditioning circuit should able to produce not only the convenient of output
voltage or current levels but it has to provide the isolation, impedance
matching, linearization with the input, proper gain adjustment with the
amplification, filtering of unwanted signals, etc. Here we reviewed the four
different methodologies of the proposed signal conditioning and interfacing
circuits with its advantageous and limitations. |

Abstract |
The pitch angle control is the most common means for adjusting the aerodynamic
torque of the wind turbine when we rate wind speed, controlling various
variables could be chosen, as generator power, generator speed and wind. As
conventional pitch control customarily use PI controller, the mathematical model
of the system should be well known. The controller design by the genetic
algorithm is developed in this paper. The genetic algorithm control strategy may
have the potential when the system contains strong non-linearity, such as wind
turbulence is strong. The design of controller strategies at is minimum will
address the following elements: Optimization of power production with
simultaneous load reduction of the main wind turbine components, Adapt control
with respect to real operational conditions. In my research I found out that the
genetic algorithm controller can achieve better control performances than
conventional pitch angle control strategies. |

Abstract |
This paper studies the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
development on economic growth in different countries and regions of the world.
The results indicate that there is a positive relationship between real GDP
growth and ICT development (as measured by the ICT Development Index) for 153
countries over the world. This study also finds that ICT development in the
upper-middle income group has a higher effect on economic growth than other
countries. This implies that if these countries seek to enhance their economic
growth, they need to implement specific policies that facilitate ICT
development. |

Abstract |
In this paper we are basically analyzing the results given by Wiener's, who says
that if the private exponent d used in RSA cryptosystem is less than n^.292 than
the system is insecure. We will focus on the result given by Weiner’s and try to
increase the range of private exponent d up to n^0.5. As n is the product of p &
q (which are the relative prime numbers). So our emphasis is how we can make our
system secure(based on the breaking of keys), One solution can be by choosing a
big prime numbers as p & q further the efficient use of RSA algorithm will help
to make system secure. |

Abstract |
This paper initializes a two element concentration vector as a feature vector
for classification and spam detection. Negative selection algorithm proposed by
the immune system in solving problems in spam detection is used to distinguish
spam from non-spam (self from non-self). Self concentration and non-self
concentration are generated to form two element concentration vectors. In this
approach to e-mail classification, the e-mail are considered as an optimization
problem using genetic algorithm to minimize the cost function that was generated
and then classification of these cost function shall aid in creating a
classifier. This classifier will aid in the new formation of algorithm that
comprises of both greater efficiency detector rate and also speedy detection of
spam e-mail. The algorithm implementation of the research work shall come in
stages were spam and non-spam are detected in all phases for an efficient
classifier. |

Abstract |
OFDM is a promising technique for high bit rate transmission systems. In
previous for a given transmit power constraint, the capacity region can be
regarded as the set of low optimal operational with low number of users. In
order to improve the QOS we need a new system. The Bit Error Rate (BER) of the
scheme for binary phase-shift keying (BPSK) is also presented. Specifically, an
algorithm is proposed that exploits the structure of the OFDM channel and whose
convergence speed is essentially insensitive to the number of subcarriers. To
improve the capacity dynamic routing, traffic scheduling, burst allocation and
load balancing concepts are used. In dynamic routing the network destination is
dynamically discovered. Traffic scheduling is used to improve the fairness. Load
balancing is used to distribute the load evenly among the cell nodes. Burst
allocation is used to choose the cyclic prefix. |

Abstract |
Over the recent years, speech recognition technology has been making steady and
significant progress. Together with advances in robust parsing techniques,
natural language generation algorithms, and the advent of high-quality speech
synthesis systems, it has paved the way for the emergence of robust spoken
dialog systems. This paper has focused on the process involved in determining
what the user has intended at each dialogue turn in a mixed initiative dialogue,
conditioned on a recognizer word graph with associated word confidence scores.
The dialogue component directly influences the initial selection process at
least whenever it has provided a specific context. The dialogue manager is the
one component that has not only local information from each server, but also
global knowledge about a particular user’s constraints. In this paper, the
Confidence Confirmation Algorithm in the selection of recognition hypotheses in
the context of human-machine interactions is described. Enhancements also made
to other human language technology servers for the purpose of providing useful
information to the dialogue manager, as well as new capabilities in the dialogue
manager itself aimed at detecting and repairing problematic spots in the
dialogue. |

Abstract |
Web services are defined as the pieces of software components, which are
distributed over the internet using some standard protocols. With more and more
web services become available, QoS is a decisive factor for selecting the most
suitable service from a set of candidate services with the identical
functionality. Thus the approach about the computation of the QoS is also
becoming more important in the service selection. In this paper, we use an
algorithm called “Intelligent Water Drops” or IWD algorithm which is inspired
from natural science. It is based on the processes that happen in the natural
river system. The actions and reactions that take place between the water drops
are also considered. The river often chooses an optimal path regarding the
conditions of its surroundings to get its ultimate goal, which is often a sea.
These ideas are embedded into the web service selection and composition for
providing efficient QoS web services. This proposed algorithm provides better
computing performance than Particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO). |

Abstract |
A training platform online is an environment that affords the conduct of long
distance teaching. It’s an online training environment that is made of tools to
facilitate the use of the system various functional devices. It also allows to
simplify long distance consultation of teaching contents, the tailoring of the
apprenceship and the service protector. It as well allows to implement flexible
solutions that can fit all types of profile in accordance with their roles, with
actors such as learners, trainers or teaching ideas men. A platform gets notably
a long distance access to the teaching resources that allows in that way to
solve the constraint of physical presence in a classroom, the management and the
individual organization of the timetable. The environment can offer to each and
every one of the learners to take care of himself; and handles his progression
and with his rhythm interacts with the trainers or collaborates with the other
learners. Considering their growing evolution, the telephony and the mobile
computing constitute now means of communication widely used in all circles; they
form helpful means to have access to information because they use easily
transportable equipment and very suitable for mobile users. Besides the
implementations are relatively easy to use thanks to the wireless application
protocol (WAP), the mobile terminals have access to data processing programs in
the network. In this way, the use of mobile computers, small ones and mobile
phones which have various degrees functionality as apprenticeship support can
help to spread out geographically the area of coverage for the long distance
teaching. Yet the mobile terminals present, particularly for the most current
mobile phones, limitations that are often link to their restricted random access
memory (RAM); their small data storage, the reduce size of the screen, the lack
of color of certain devices and mostly the lack of possibility to be online to
the internet network. Despite all the conjured up constraints, the telephony and
the small size computers use in an asset for the spreading of the pedagogical
contents of the apprenticeship and the access to the online laboratories. In
this communication, we are going to present our process that has led to the
online apprenticeship environment setting up that has fitted the mobile phone
and small computers. This virtual teaching environment and of online
apprenticeship named E-mobile learning (E-ML) take into account the specific
limitations of mobile terminals. The results allow to the learners to get the
content of courses at real time and at every time without any constraint of
place, space and bandwidth limitation. This solution will afford students to
follow their courses on a mobile phone screen on a small computer named Personal
Digital Assistant. |

Abstract |
This paper presents a method to multicast multiple videos to a set of users
(Subscriber Stations) from a Base Station using WiMAX networks by incorporating
layer encoded streaming technique. This method makes the system dynamically
adapt to the channel quality available and also ensures Quality-of-Service (QoS)
and maximum satisfaction to all users. The advantage of using this system is
that the available bandwidth can be utilized to the maximum and any unused
processes can have its resource freed. |

Abstract |
Due to the increase in the usage of wireless devices and the consequent spectrum
allocation radio spectrum is becoming scarce. However, studies have shown that
most of the allotted spectrum is not used for large periods of time. Cognitive
radio (CR) has been proposed to exploit the presence of the spectrum holes. To
use the unused spectrum, spectrum sensing is need to know if the primary user
(licensed user) exist or not where the spectrum sensing problem has gained new
aspects with cognitive radio and opportunistic spectrum access concepts. It is
one of the most important operations of cognitive radio, determines the
efficiency with which the secondary users or cognitive users (CU) can use the
primary spectrum, without causing appreciable interference to the primary users.
Severals factors like fading and shadowing affects the ability of the cognitive
radio to detect the primary user. In this paper, the performance of cooperation
based spectrum sensing scheme will be studied for OFDM (orthogonal frequency
division multiplexing) based cognitive users using the energy detector method
.The effect of variable channel gain on the cooperation between secondary users
will be investigated which is not clarified until now. Moreover, the effect of
fusion rules will be made. AWGN will be assumed. Simulation results show that
improvement using OR rule with cooperative scheme is better than using AND rule
.This is because OR rule is very conservative for CRs to access licensed band. |

SWARMMING NANOROBOTS OF JOINT INTENTION FOR CHOLESTEROLE FREE BLOOD ARTERIES |

pp 077 - 087 Vol 39. No. 1 -- 2012 |
Abstract |
Recent advances in the nanorobots design and implementation field considers
requirements that serve medical applications according to one of two scenarios:
drug delivery and discovery tasks. These scenarios are based on detecting
threshold concentration of specific chemicals emitted by cells or searching
particular places in the human body and acting upon findings. These scenarios
emphasize local self-coordination but lack the global coordination over long
distances to cooperatively accomplish group task. Considering the scenario of
launching a swarm of nanorobot in blood artery for the purpose of cutting
cholesterol plaques, the proposed model identifies flocking based coordination
between nanorobots in the swarm. The proposed model includes both decentralized
and centralized coordination for possessing both the local information within
the swarm and global information for interactive task assignment by the medical
specialists. In addition the medical specialist can interactively cancel task,
re-assign new task whilst monitoring task accomplishment. The task is simply
searching Cholesterol threshold size in a specified location in blood artery.
The experimentation results has shown to be efficient as it overcomes coverage
based particle swarm optimization problem. |

Abstract |
The aim of this paper is to optimize the system after restoring and reconfigure
the faulted area in a distribution network after isolating the faulted block.
Restoration involves changing the switch status to maximize the supply to loads
that are left unsupplied after fault removal. After system optimization using
reconfiguration, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is used in order to
control the switches by generating the pulses for the stable configuration. In
the proposed system restoration and reconfiguration process is achieved in 16
bus system and simultaneously load flow analysis is performed before and after
the fault and the same is verified in MATLAB. Optimization using Binary Particle
Swarm Optimization (BPSO) is done in order to get the most stable configuration
for restoration process by minimizing the LBI (Load Balancing Index). |

Abstract |
In a network with dynamic spectrum access, secondary users equipped with
frequency-agile cognitive radios communicate with one another via spectrum that
is not being used by the primary users or licensed users of the spectrum . We
consider a scenario in which a secondary transmitter can communicate with a
secondary receiver via a direct communication link or a relay channel.
Cooperative relay communications or cooperative diversity has received a lot of
attention in recent years. Two well known cooperative strategies are known as
Amplify And Forward (AAF) and Decode And Forward (DAF). In this paper, the AAF
strategy will be considered, which achieves diversity by using Maximal Ratio
Combining (MRC) and Fixed Ratio Combining (FRC) which is not clarified until
now. From simulation results, we can conclude that using both of the direct and
relay channels, the transmissions performance of the secondary system can be
improved significantly , Moreover, exploiting cooperative spectrum sensing
technique for applications in a relay based cognitive radio network , it is seen
that detection probability increases by using relay channel . The best
performance was achieved when the relay is at equal distance from the sender and
the destination or slightly closer to the sender. |
