SENTIMENT ANALYSIS USING REPRESENTATIVE TERMS – A GROUPING APPROACH FOR BINARY
CLASSIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS |
Author: |
N.SRINIVASA GUPTA, B.VALARMATHI, SANJU JOSEPH |
Abstract: |
Automatic classification of customer reviews as either positive or negative has
been of great interest among the academic and business community in the recent
times. In this paper, an attempt has been made to represent the text documents
using just eight representative terms (RT) viz. good, very good, excellent,
recommended, bad, very bad, disgusting, and never recommended. Thus a new way of
representing text documents as a structured data matrix has been created. A
consistent classification accuracy of near 80% and above was achieved for
datasets of various sizes ranging from 403 to 25000. The precision (P), recall(R)
and F-Measure were also very consistent and comparable to the previously
reported results. A comparative analysis of classification performance has been
carried out using machine learning algorithms like Naïve Bayes (NB), Bayesian
logistic regression (BLR), multi layer perceptron (MLP) etc., revealed that the
proposed way of representing the text documents results in consistently superior
performance. |

Author: |
ZHIBIN ZHANG, YINGYING LU, YONGSHENG SONG, HAIXU WANG |
Abstract: |
An improved crop rows detection presented based-Hough transform. In the paper,
the two argument of peaks in Hough space were mapped into the Cartesian
coordinate system to extract straight line segments fitting the crop rows, in
which the template matching was firstly designed to filter the noises from
isolated, or scattering points, then the weighted averaging were employed to
eliminate line segments family due to the peaks and pseudo-peaks in Hough space.
Experiment results showed that the novel crop rows recognition method could
extract perfect crop row line segments from real image with strong noises or
disturbance, and it was real-time, robust against great area grass, loss of crop
row, or lack of crop row information in real image, with high accuracy and
availability. |

ZHIBIN ZHANG, SHUANGSHUANG LIU, GANG XU, JUANGJUANG WANG |
Abstract: |
Distance detection is a crucial issue for driver assistance systems and it has
to be performed with high reliability to avoid any potential collision with the
front vehicle. The vision-based distance detection is regarded promising for
this purpose because they require little infrastructure on a highway. In this
paper, a distance detection algorithm using stereo vision sensors is developed,
in which the license plate feature extraction and its center coordinate
obtainment are utilized to match the corresponding pairs of the license plate.
And then the 3-D reconstruction equation groups are used to obtain the position
parameters of the front vehicle. The proposed distance detection algorithm is
tested on a set of images taken in different distances and its performance is
verified experimentally. |

Abstract: |
Content-based Image Retrieval (CBIR) using relevance feedback technique is
applied to improve the results of traditional techniques in image retrieval.
Since the results returned by system cannot fully satisfy users and the
iteration process of feedback can be very time-consuming and tedious, log-based
relevance feedback is introduce to the system. In previous work, we have already
introduced multi-level log-based relevance feedback scheme for image retrieval
to accelerate the iteration process and to increase the hit rate. In this paper,
we improve the novel algorithm and apply it in a demo image retrieval system
which presents refined results based on multi-level log-based relevance feedback

THE RESEARCH ON DATA STREAM CLUSTERING ALGORITHM BASED ON ACTIVE GRID-DENSITY |
Author: |
ZHONG ZHISHUI, WANG GANG |
Abstract: |
The main work of this paper is to study and to achieve a time complexity of low
and high precision of clustering data stream clustering algorithm. First is to
analyze the data stream mining theory; to analyze and summarize several typical
advantages and disadvantages of the traditional clustering algorithms, as well
as the scope of application of clustering, which leads to data stream clustering
algorithm and it’s elaborate; highlight a new data stream clustering algorithm:
the data stream clustering algorithm is based on active mesh density. Firstly,
the data space grid is divided into a grid structure formed by the small cube
grid cell on the grounds, and then the data stream is mapped to this structure,
the application of the concept is of density formation of the concept, and then
feature vector to determine the density of the grid. The density attenuation of
the dynamic is in the nature of the technology to capture data stream, and then
extract the boundary point to remove it; introduce the concept of activity to
determine the mesh density of active and inactive grid density to ignore the
reserve of active grid density clustering, and in this article the algorithm
CluStream algorithm for comparison. Finally, the algorithm is applied in this
article to the network intrusion detection algorithm in the detection rate and
false alarm rate analyzed to verify whether the algorithm is feasible or not. |

Reactive power balance of power system is important. Static synchronous
compensator (STATCOM) based on invert technology is a new dynamic reactive power
compensation, and has many advantages compared with static var compensator, so
STATCOM has vast market prospect. New technology can improve the performance of
static synchronous compensator, and in this paper wavelet filter is applied in
STATCOM to filter the harmonics of load current, and the active portion and
reactive portion of the fundamental current are calculated by dq transformer,
and the reference signal of output current is calculated by dq reverse
transformer using the reactive portion and the output of PI controller which
controls the DC voltage, and PWM tracking control technology is employed. The

ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE PLANNING METHOD FOR COMPLIANT ASSEMBLY |
Author: |
LIHONG QIAO, NA CAI |
Abstract: |
Compliant assemblies are widely used in automobiles and airplanes etc. In order
to simplify the complex assembly sequence planning problem of compliant
assemblies involving dimensional variation caused by deformation, a two-step
assembly sequence planning method is proposed in this paper. Meanwhile, an
example of a wingbox assembly is used to explain the principle of the method. In
the first step the wingbox is assumed to be a rigid body without deformation.
The assembly sequence is then acquired according to the precedence constraint
relationships represented by the liaison graph and the adjacency matrix. On the
basis of the result obtained in the first step, the assembly sequence which
meets the dimensional quality requirements is acquired by dimensional variation
analysis in the second step. In order to clearly express the precedence and
hierarchical constraint relationships for large number of parts, the
hierarchical liaison graph based on connection feature is proposed and applied
on modeling the wingbox assembly. |

RESEARCH ON COMPLEX THREE ORDER CUMULANTS COUPLING FEATURES IN FAULT DIAGNOSIS |
Author: |
WANG YUANZHI |
Abstract: |
Compared with bispectrum, three-order cumulants have a lower computing
complexity, and complex three-order cumulants formally includes different
coupling information of signals, in the experiment, through these different
coupling modes, features of fault signals and normal signals are fetched by 2-D
wavelet in different directions, then these features are used to diagnose fault.
The experiment shows that the method can achieve satisfactory result through
different selections in fault diagnosis. Compared with the same dimensions of
corresponding complex three-order cumulants as the feature extracted by 2-D
wavelet, and the real three-order cumulants obtained by the same signals, the
results prove that the method in the experiment is effective. |

A FUZZY EVALUATION ALGORITHM OF E-COMMERCE CUSTOMERS BASED ON ATTRIBUTES
REDUCTION |
Author: |
YUN PENG, HONGXIN WAN |
Abstract: |
The evaluation algorithm is based on the attributes of data objects. There is a
certain correlation between attributes, and attributes are divided into key
attributes and secondary attributes. The evaluation from the data objects in a
hierarchical design based on key attributes can reduce the data size and
algorithm complexity, and without prejudice on the basis of evaluation results
can improve the accuracy of the algorithm. This paper proposes an algorithm of
attribute reduction based on rough set and the hierarchical evaluation based on
fuzzy set. The algorithm of hierarchical fuzzy evaluation based on attributes
reduction is described in detail by example. According to the analysis of the
current evaluation of e-commerce customers, a superposition method based on
fuzzy evaluation algorithm is presented. After Clustering analysis of customers,
then the evaluation analysis will be processed on the clustered data. There are
a lot of uncertain data of customer clustering, so the traditional method of
classification and evaluation to the incomplete data will be very complex.
Superposition evaluation algorithm based on fuzzy set can improve the
reliability and accuracy of e-commerce customer evaluation. Evaluation of the
e-commerce customer also can improve efficiency, service quality and
profitability of e-commerce businesses. |

A FLEXIBLE JOB SHOP ONLINE SCHEDULING APPROACH BASED ON PROCESS-TREE |
Author: |
XIANGDE LIU, GENBAO ZHANG |
Abstract: |
The flexible job shop scheduling problem (FJSP) is one of the most difficult
NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems. It is extremely difficult to solve
the FJSP with the disturbances of manufacturing environment, which is always
regarded as the flexible job shop online scheduling problem. This paper proposes
a new method based on Process-Tree to solve this type of scheduling problem.
Process sequence of a job can always be described as one of the three types of
Process-Trees given in this paper. To manufacture a job, assignment of
operations to machines is determined by considering the Process-Tree, together
with the status of job shop and appropriateness of machines and auxiliary device
for producing the job’s features. In this paper dispatching rules are used to
generate the scheduling, and simulation results reveal that the presented
approach performs well in flexible job shop online scheduling problem. |

FAULT DIAGNOSIS FOR MOTOR BASED ON EMD ALGORITHM |
Author: |
LIJUN WANG, DONGFEI WANG, YONGLIANG HUANG |
Abstract: |
Nowadays motor is the most widely used power supply equipment and drive. In
order to ensure the reliable operation of the motor, it is necessary to analyze
the fault mechanism of motor equipment and to do some research on the relevant
technology about fault diagnosis. The motor diagnostic method based on signal
processing is the way that relies on modern signal processing technology to
extract fault features, and find the fault according to the characteristics. At
present the fault diagnosis method based on the wavelet analysis has become a
hot topic. But wavelet transform also has its own defects, such as its
dependence on a priori information and its applicable limitation. However,
Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) as a new signal processing technology, is
completely driven by its original signal, doesn't need a priori base function
and overcomes the deficiency of the wavelet transform. Therefore in this paper,
EMD method is used in the fault diagnosis of the motor. In this study, EMD
method shows a great advantage in the aspects of signal feature extraction,
transformation, the reduction feasibility and fault diagnosis for induction
motor at a setting speed. |

Abstract: |
In the subway station fires, the most immediate threat to passengers’ life is
not the direct exposure to fire, but the smoke inhalation because it contains
hot air and toxic gases. Theoretical analysis and CFD simulations are applied to
analyze the various possible ventilation model and obtain the optimization of
ventilation mode in the subway station fires. According to the structure
characters of the subway station and the mechanics analysis of smoke flowing,
the air curtain is put forward to control the smoke diffusion according to the
streamline and flux principle. The computational mathematical model of the air
curtain is derived theoretically. The results indicate that more than 6 minutes
for safe evacuation can be guaranteed by air curtain. The quantity of fresh air
that the air curtain needs has been only 2/5 of which the traditional method,
which effectively prevent the fire expand and control the smoke diffusion. |

Abstract: |
The key to improve the competitive ability of manufacturing companies is how to
develop high quality product for their customers. So, the selection of product
quality and technical parameters is very important for meeting with the customer
requirements (CRs). However, the selection process is a complex and difficult
task. The aim of this study is to propose a comprehensive decision model to help
product designers. Firstly, the analytic network process (ANP) is used to
compute the weights of CRs. Then, quality function deployment (QFD), an
effective optimization technique, is applied to transform CRs into product
design technical characteristics (TCs). Finally, the relationships between CRs
and TCs are considered in QFD during the inference process. A numerical example
is given to prove the validity of the proposed synthesis methodology through a

A MULTIDIMENSIONAL PAGE RANK ALGORITHM OF LITERATURES |
Author: |
KUN YU, XIAOBING CHEN, JIANHONG CHEN |
Abstract: |
Literature is usually evaluated based on impact factor, cited information or the
quality of literature database. Here, some more exact evaluation schemes and
algorithms are investigated and a synthetically reputation model and its
evaluation algorithm are proposed. The reputation model integrates much more
information of academic interactions such as reviews and comments. The
literature reputation can be modeled by complex relationships among literature,
authors, publish sources and readers. The model is in some ways similar to the
Google PageRank model. However, in the literature reputation model, the
relationships belong to different classes and have different importance that is
great different from PageRank which regard all links as the same class. We
propose a centralized algorithm that can compute the reputation most exactly and
a distributed version that can run in P2P systems. The simulations show that the
reputation evaluation algorithm is convergent and efficient. The communication
cost of the distributed algorithm is low if the convergence condition is
relaxed. |
