Abstract: |
In this paper, based on available information of various types, including fuzzy
information, mathematical models of the reactor block installation in the
fluidized bed of the catalyst at the Atyrau oil refinery in Kazakhstan are
investigated and developed. The plant is designed to convert the residue of
atmospheric distillation (AR, fuel oil), heavy gas oil, vacuum gas oil, heavy
gas oil from the coking plant, heavy refined oil from the aromatics production
complex and heavy aromatic compounds from the same complex into more valuable
products, such as liquefied hydrocarbon gas, gasoline and light catalytic
cracking gas oil. The version of such system with the help of MALAB was

USABILITY ISSUES FOR LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS: CASE STUDY, STUDENTS AND
TEACHING STAFF PERCEPTIONS |
Author: |

Abstract: |
This study contributes to examining AlBalqa Applied University (BAU) teaching
staff’s and students’ views on integrating features of smart learning and social
network services into the Learning Management System (LMS) currently used
(Moodle). The need of this study arose from the realization that the teaching
staff and students’ are moving from LMSs to Social Network Sites (SNSs) to
achieve academic-related tasks. The aim of this research is to analyse the
patterns the teaching staff’s and students’ usage of LMSs and SNSs, to identify
the gaps in the currently used LMS, and to investigate the users’ perceptions
towards educational value of integrating social networking features into Moodle.
Data was collected from students and teaching staff by using mixed method
approach: interviews and survey. Obtained information regarding the teaching
staff’s and students’ perceptions toward the used LMS and the SNSs demonstrates
the shortfalls of Moodle and determines the SNSs features that have the
potential to enhance the usage of the LMS. The results of the study show that
although the majority of the teaching staff spend extra time to accomplish an
educational task through SNSs, they prefer to use SNSs for announcements and
communication, as they believe that SNSs notifies faster than using Moodle. The
results were similar for the students, while they trust the Moodle as an
academic source, the majority believe that they can access relevant academic
content more rapidly when using SNSs. The results emphasize the importance of
the development of the features of the LMSs as a unified source for educational
process including academic information and collaborative activities. |

Abstract: |
The rapid growth of using social media has produced some serious undesirable
outcomes such as hate speech. Over recent years, the amount of hate speech has
widely spread and incredibly increasing. Thus, there is a need to detect hateful
content that may lead to violent actions and criminal activities. While most of
the previous research has been about the detection of hate speech in the English
language or other languages, the Arabic language has been attracted a few
researchers. This paper deals with detecting hate speech of the Arabic language
in social media like Twitter. We have performed experiments on our own collected
dataset using three different classification algorithms: Random Forest (RF),
Naive Bayes (NB) and Support Vector Machine (SVM), also using two feature
extraction methods: Bag of Word (BoW) and Term Frequency–Inverse Document
Frequency (TF-IDF). The result shows that SVM maintains consistently high
performance and outperformed the other classifiers. Also, we have found that
TF-IDF has outperformed the other method allowing SVM to achieve the highest
accuracy. |

FILE CRYPTO-COMPRESSION BY USING H-RABIN AND GOLOMB RICE ALGORITHM |
Author: |
DIAN RACHMAWATI, AMALIA AMALIA, TRISKA HANIS ILLAHI |
Abstract: |
Security in delivering messages is essential, because it is useful to keep the
confidentiality of the information distributed. Therefore, the message encoding
or H-Rabin cryptography is necessary so that the negligent party does not easily
detect or know the contents of the data. H-Rabin's excess of cryptography is to
rely more on its security at the power of factoring one large integer into three
large prime factor factors, making it safer than some attacks. The H-Rabin
encryption process generates a larger file size. This leads to slower file
delivery. Therefore, Golomb Rice's compression method is necessary to deliver
fast and accurate file delivery. Golomb Rice has a very suitable code for
situations where the occurrence of small value in the input flow is
significantly more likely than the large value. In this study, the authors
performed cryptocompression, which was a merger of the H-Rabin cryptographic
algorithms and the Golomb Rice compression algorithm. The research will be
conducted two phases of testing, namely the stage of encryption and compression
process, and then continued with the process of decompression and decryption.
The system implementation uses the C# programming language. The results showed
that the H-Rabin cryptographic algorithm with the Golomb Rice compression
algorithm was able to perform the message security process and be able to
restore the already secured messages. From the test results that have been done
that the file type does not affect processing time. In the compression result,
the Ratio of Compression (RC), Compression of Ratio (CR), Space Savings (SS),
and Bitrate of cipher files using the same H-Rabin key has no distinct value
even though the original file size is used differently. |

Abstract: |
Mobile communication is one of the main areas of telecommunications and it is
evolving incredibly rapidly today, thanks to improvements in technology in all
areas of mobile and wireless communications. The use of positioning methods is
now widely used in many applications such as navigation, mobility, emergency
services and also used for warfare in the army. To detect the user in a very
accurate place, the significance of the positioning methods is needed. Global
Positioning System (GPS) is the most commonly used and acknowledged positioning
system, but it has some constraints on outdoor place and forest / mountain
region. Many methods of geo-location predate and were suggested as an
alternative to GPS. Some of the positioning methods are the arrival time
difference (TDOA), which uses the hyperbolic technique of place to predict the
user's location. In closed form time difference of arrival (TDOA) positioning
system locating the moving target in 2D, 3D (same and different altitude), at
least five stations are required. Positioning accuracy is significantly affected
by position station distribution. First, a positioning accuracy model is created
and the factors influencing positioning accuracy are evaluated in line-of-sight
(LOS) settings through the study of the TDOA location system principle.
Geometric dilution of precision (GDOP) is a standard for determining a system's
efficiency. There are eight different models of distribution of geometric
dilution of precision (GDOP) for five station. Finally, in this paper, the
optimal distribution principle of five-station in 2D, 3D (with same and
different altitude) are presented with comparison with each of the distribution. |

WEIGHTED ROUND ROBIN BASED PRODUCTION SCHEDULING MODEL FOR SEASONAL PRODUCT |
Author: |
PURBA DARU KUSUMA |
Abstract: |
Single shipment scenario is adopted in most of production scheduling models.
Besides, in general, next order will be executed after current order is executed
completely. This approach works well for regular products. Unfortunately, for
seasonal products, this approach triggers rejections or some customers may loose
the peak season opportunity because they receive products after the season ends.
Based on this problem, in this work, we propose new approach in production
scheduling model based on Weighted Round Robin (WRR) scheduling method which is
common in computer and networking fields. We propose two Round Robin variants:
absolute Round Robin and relative Round Robin. This model is then simulated and
compared with conventional First Come First Served (FCFS) model in production
process environment for seasonal product. The adjusted parameters are: average
inter-arrival date, average order quantity, and number of machines. Meanwhile,
the observed parameters are: average waiting time, average completion time, and
average flow time. Based on the simulation result, both absolute Round Robin and
relative Round Robin produce lower waiting time rather than the conventional
FCFS so that all customers can benefit in preparing and maximizing the peak
season opportunity. Meanwhile, these both Round Robin models produce longer
completion time. The relative Round Robin performs better than absolute Round
Robin in creating lower completion time and lower flow time. Because the order
is delivered in multiple shipments, this work shows that by using these proposed
Round Robin based scheduling models, customer can benefit wider financial space
rather than by using conventional First Come First Served Model in handling
seasonal product. |

Abstract: |
The present article gives an overview of the Kostanay region in terms of its
vegetation state as it is one of the most significant agricultural produce
suppliers. The study was carried out using the means if remote sensing as a
source of data, which was consequently used to derive the NDVI figures with QGIS
software that offers tools for handling raster calculations. Even though the
period of study was as short as six months, beginning from May 2019 to October
2019 inclusive, the derived figures have shown that the arable land was
efficiently used in summer months; however, the figures followed a descending
trend from August to October 2019. |

INFORMATION DISCLOSURE |
Author: |
IN WANG, JONGCHANG AHN |
Abstract: |
With the rapid development of the Internet and continuous improvement of the
e-commerce platform, online shopping has gained popularity among customers in
China. Consequently, protecting customers’ personal information is of concern.
However, previous studies have focused on self-disclosure of personal
information unlike this study. This study addresses this problem and analyzes
the main factors and means of personal information disclosure in the online
shopping process through a stringent statistical process with a suitable sample
size. It examines the impact of factors generated from related previous research
on customers’ personal information disclosure. Based on the research model,
questionnaires are developed and a survey is conducted to collect sample data
(n=370), targeting Chinese online shopping customers. The findings indicate that
information significance and website reputation have a positive influence,
whereas trust has a negative influence on protective behavior intention, which
in turn negatively influences information disclosure. This study can contribute
to research on customers’ privacy protection and also the legal usage of
customer information by shopping platform operators and sellers in the online
shopping market. |

Abstract: |
The In recent years, the broadband services demand has increased considerably.
The size of the radio frequency spectrum (RF) (3 kHz to 300 GHz) should limit
the growth of future wireless systems unless new parts of the spectr are opened.
Even with the use of advanced engineering, such as signal processing and
advanced modulation schemes, it will be very difficult to meet the demands of
users in the coming dec-ades, using frequencies existing carriers. On the other
hand, there is a potential spectrum band can provide tens of Gbps to Tbps for
users in the near future. Communication technology FSO (Free Space Optical),
also known as optical wireless communication (OWC: optical wireless
communication) has generated great interest in recent years. In some cases, the
FSO is considered an alternative to existing technologies such as radio
frequency. In other cases, FSO is considered a strong candidate to complete and
integrate next-generation technologies, such as wireless networks
5G.Accordingly, the FSO technology is widely deployed in various indoor
environments (e.g. data centers), terrestrial (e.g. mobile networks) and spatial
(e.g., inter-satellite communication and deep space) and subsea systems (e.g.,
submarine detection). Gradually, as the portfolio of applications of FSO
technology develops, the need for a clear investigation for cooperative systems
FSO links is the same. Most surveys of existing cooperative systems are surveys
at one level and therefore not inclusive enough to reflect changes and recent
and emerging developments in different con-figurations of cooperative systems
FSO. In this article we give an overview on the most important coopera-tive
systems encountered in OWC systems in indoor environments, terrestrial, space
and underwater. We use surveys offered to review and summarize the experimental
work and the major systems of cooperative systems FSO in the area until
2019.Using the survey suggested, we aim to give researchers an opportunity to
tap into the growing field and expansion of cooperative systems FSO technology
in different environ-ments. The proposed survey can also help to organize and
systematically present the advances in technol-ogy research cooperative FSO
systems. |

Abstract: |
This paper deals with the macromodelling of the CoolMOS power transistor. A
novel power CoolMOS transistor macromodel giving accurate results is setting up.
It is based on the subdivision of the CoolMOS power transistor into an intrinsic
MOSFET, a JFET, a Zener diode and a voltage-controlled voltage source. All these
components are incorporated within a sub-circuit in order to describe the power
CoolMOS transistor effects like saturation and quasi-saturation. These effects
as well as the parameters extraction procedure will be explained clearly in this
paper while introducing the new sub-circuit model. The effectiveness of the
proposed model has been verified by comparing the proposed model simulation
results under PSpice with the results of datasheets given by manufacturers and
with the models presented by Infineon Technologies. Our model provides an
accurate description in all operation regions for DC characteristics. It gives
less than 5.5% as an average error percentage for the output characteristics. |

APPROXIMATE MULTIPLE STRING MATCHING ALGORITHM |
Author: |
J UJWALA REKHA |
Abstract: |
Approximate multiple string matching comprises of finding all appearances of a
set of patterns within a larger text with at most k-mismatches or k-differences.
It is a process that consumes large amounts of computational resources and has
applications in many domains of computer science such as correction of spelling,
spam filtering and computational biology to name a few. However, these
applications require a fast algorithm for string matching which depends on the
construction of an accurate shift table. When a mismatch occurs while searching
a pattern, a shift table specifies the maximum number of characters that can be
skipped in text while ensuring that a possible match is not overlooked. This
study presents a simple and efficient algorithm that is a variant of
Tarhio-Ukkonen algorithm generalized to approximate multiple string matching.
The algorithm searches for patterns of different lengths with at most
k-mismatches by skipping some of the characters, while not missing the
occurrences of any pattern. While the space and time complexity for construction
of shift table is and , the time complexity of search algorithm is , where is
the number of patterns, is the number of characters in the alphabet, is the
length of the text string and is the total length of all patterns. To evaluate
the efficacy of the algorithm, experiments are conducted on random text and
random patterns of different lengths and different values of k. |

Abstract: |
The primary aim of this study is to investigate the impact of marketing
automation on business performance by primarily focusing on the effect on sales
and customer experience along with identifying the barriers that deter the
successful implementation of this technology. Marketing automation allows
businesses to compete effectively especially in the efforts to attract the
customers’ attention. The data were collected using semi-structured interviews.
The results reveal that marketing automation places on strategies that can be
used to increase consumer collaboration and coordination during the process of
product development and enhancing their input and consequently increasing their
experience. Marketing automation improves customer experience, saves time by
relieving the daily tasks such as posting messages and sending emails, ensures
consistency because same activities will generate the same results, leads to
optimization of the marketing strategy and also yields a coordinate
multi-channel campaign that allows companies to reach the customers with
conditional content, smart and relevant segmentation. Despite the numerous
benefit that lead to improvement of overall business performance, implementation
of marketing automation in organizations encounters different several challenges
that are highlighted as follows; lack the prerequisite laid guidelines to
enhance the accomplishment of the marketing automation outcomes and inadequate
data and inconsistency in the quality of information hinders the applicability
of marketing automation in firms. |

AHMED ISMAIL, SAMIR ABDLERAZEK, I. M. EL-HENAWY |
Abstract: |
The healthcare data can be employed to develop a health prediction system that
can improve in heart disease prevention. Big data on health care, including
patient records, clinical notes, diagnosis, parents and family past ailments,
hospitals, and scan results can aid in the phase of disease identification and
prediction. The emerging machine learning method offers an important framework
for forecasting cardiac diseases. An advanced Support Vector Machine (SVM)
classifier was used by the program to conduct parameter tuning to improve
classification accuracy and performance. The proposed work aims to develop a
real-time prediction system for health issues based on big medical data
processing on the cloud. In the proposed scalable system, the medical parameters
are sent to Apache Spark to extract the attributes from the data and to apply
the proposed machine learning algorithm aiming to predict the healthcare risks
and send them as alerts and recommendations to the users and the healthcare
providers as well. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the impact of
applying machine learning algorithms using electronic health records. The
proposed work aimed to provide an effective recommendation system using
streaming medical data, historical data on the user profile, and knowledge
database to provide users with the best recommendations and alerts in real-time
according to the sensors measurements. The proposed system of prediction could
offer high accuracy in comparison with literature work with the predictability
of 90.6 for heart disease. The methodology of this research is applying
parameterization for parameters on SVM to make the possibility of prediction is
higher using the most effective features. |
