Abstract |
Network technology smooth the progress of communication system in a
sophisticated manner at the same time it braves are increased from the huntsman.
In communication process, user’s connectivity, violations of policy on access of
information are handles through intrusion. Intrusion prevention is the process
of performing intrusion detection and attempting to stop detected possible
incidents. It focused on identifying possible incidents, logging information
about them, attempting to stop them, and reporting them to security
administrators. However, organizations use Intrusion detection and prevention
system (IDPS) for other purposes, such as identifying problems with security
policies, documenting existing threats, and deterring individuals from violating
security policies. Now a days IDPSs have become a necessary addition to the
security infrastructure of nearly every organization. In this paper describes
about Simple Network Management Protocol Application Level Gateway (SNMP ALG)
protocol sequences which is used to detect the intrusion on hybrid network and
its attributes and recommend the standardized (SNMP ALG) protocol for the
intrusion detection process |

Abstract |
Clustering is a process of discovering groups of objects such that the objects
of the same group are similar, and objects belonging to different groups are
dissimilar. A number of clustering algorithms exist that can solve the problem
of clustering, but most of them are very sensitive to their input parameters.
Therefore it is very important to evaluate the result of them. The minimum
spanning tree clustering algorithm is capable of detecting clusters with
irregular boundaries. In this paper we propose a minimum spanning tree based
clustering algorithm with cluster evaluation. The algorithm produces k clusters
with center and guaranteed intra-cluster similarity. The radius and diameter of
the k clusters are computed to find the tightness of the k clusters. The
variance of the k clusters is also computed to find the compactness of the
clusters. In this paper we computed tightness and compactness of clusters, which
reflects good measure of the efficacy of clustering. |

The
modern communication and development process supported to the teaching learning
process in many elements. This Information and communication technology is
facilitated many resource accessibility for the learners in the teaching
learning environment. The modern teaching learning environment facilitated with
many technological resources such as computer network and its connected
peripherals. This analysis aims to observe the intranet and internet usage of
academic stakeholders and their bandwidth utilization across and between the
academic hybrid network. The educational network environment allows mobile hosts
that are multiple hops from an access point to use centralized services; which
are not available in pure ad hoc networks. The current network is characterized
by its increasing distribution, dynamic nature, and the complexity of its
sharable resources due to the increasing demand of different services in the
academic community. This analysis observes the data transformation process
across and between networks using different network and data transfer service
protocols. This paper analysis the utilization of protocol and packet
transformation issues on the existing academic hybrid network with the specific
case study of salalah college of technology. The result of the observation and
recommendations are presented this paper. |

Abstract |
The
wide spread of pro-pesticide in order to increase the yield of crops in Pakistan
produces harmful effects on farmers as well as on economic, ecological and
communal sector. This paper presents a new technique to analyze the agricultural
data. This technique is based on visual data mining for gathering, organizing
and examining the agricultural data. The main purpose of this technique is to
put the cause of pesticide on human life. Chernoff faces are used to deduce the
data in understandable form and the clustering of agricultural data is performed
by Chernoff faces method. This paper explores the concept of multidimensional
data. Experimental results have shown that by the use of multidimensional data
display, integration and presentation have been enhanced |

Abstract |
CDMA
cellular networks support soft handover, which guarantees the continuity of
wireless services and enhanced communication quality. Cellular networks
performance depends upon Soft handover parameters. In this paper, we have shown
the effect of soft handover parameters on the performance of CDMA cellular
networks. We consider HYST_ ADD and HYST_ DROP as the Soft handover parameters.
A very useful statistical measure for characterizing the performance of CDMA
cellular system is the mean active set size and soft handover region. It is
shown through numerical results that above parameters have decisive effect on
mean active set size and soft handover region and hence on the overall
performance of the soft handover algorithm. |

Abstract |
In
recent years, great interest was focused on microstrip antennas for their small
volumes, low profiles, good integration, low costs and good performance. With
the continuous growth of wireless communication service and the constant
miniaturization of communication equipment, there are higher and higher demands
for the volume of antennas, integration and working band. This paper presents A
circular polarized (CP) Circular microstrip antenna with triple band for
wireless communications system application which are suitable for the 2.4-GHz,
3.5-GHz and the 5-GHz triple-band operations. These systems may include various
combinations of Bluetooth, WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave
Access) and wireless local-area network (WLAN). A circular microstrip patch
antenna is designed to operate at 2.4 (GHz) with circular polarization, a U slot
is inserted thereafter in the original patch to generate the second resonant at
5.2 (GHz). Another C-slot is inserted thereafter to generate the 3.5 (GHz) third
band. The C slot insertion effect on the original patch is examined, first arc
length effect on the return loss and axial ration is examined in order to get
the optimum length, and then the arc orientation effect also is examined to find
out the best orientation to place the arc. This design has several advantages as
the total antenna volume can be reused, and therefore the overall antenna will
be compact. The design is verified through both numerical simulations and
measurement of a fabricated prototype. The results confirm good performance of
the single and multiband antenna design. |

Abstract |
Mobile Ad hoc NET work (MANET) is a self configuring network of mobile routers
(and associated hosts) connected by wireless links – the union of which forms an
arbitrary topology. The routers are free to move randomly and organize
themselves arbitrarily, thus the wireless network topology may change rapidly
and unpredictably. Such a network may operate in larger Internet. There are
various routing protocols available for MANETs. The most popular ones are DSR,
AODV and DSDV. This paper examines two routing protocols for mobile ad hoc
networks– the Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV), the table- driven
protocol and the Ad hoc On- Demand Distance Vector routing (AODV), evaluates
both protocols based on packet delivery ratio and average delay while varying
number of sources and pause time. |

Abstract |
A
novel technique for obtaining a single-layer single-feed dual frequency
rectangular microstrip antenna with protruding semi ellipse for s-band
communication is proposed and demonstrated. By protruding semi ellipse of
appropriate dimension close to one of the edge, the rectangular patch has been
shown to realize dual-frequency broadside radiations. This dual frequency
operation increases its applications in radar and space communications. The
range of the frequency ratio (FR) can be varied from 1.03 to 1.30 by changing
the dimension of semi minor axis of protruding semi ellipse. Several
optimizations are performed to attain the optimum values of the antenna physical
parameters and then a prototype is fabricated. The presented antenna is compact
having an area reduction greater than 15% and shows enhanced radiation
characteristics compared to the standard rectangular patch. Details of the
antenna design and experimental results are presented. |

Abstract |
The
increasing number of objects 3D are available on the Internet or in specialized
databases and require the establishment of methods to develop description and
recognition techniques[1,2,3] to access intelligently to the contents of these
objects .
In this context, our work whose objective is to present the methods of
description and recognizing of 3D objects are based on neural networks and
principal component analysis. In fact, it consists of determining invariant
descriptors[4,5] and recognizing the objects of a database similar to a given
object (query object) using neural networks , descriptor vectors extracted from
the principal component analysis and concluded equations from the same analysis
and neural networks. The 3D objects of this database are transformations of 3D
objects by one element of the overall transformation. The set of transformations
considered in this work is the general affine group. The measure of similarity
between two descriptor vector objects is achieved by a similarity function using
the euclidean distance. |
