Abstract |
SF6 is the main mode of insulation in a
GIS. However, in recent years, the future use of SF6 has been debated throughout
the world in spite of it having all the desirable properties of a good
insulating and arc quenching medium. Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) has been used as
a gaseous dielectric (insulator) in high voltage equipment since the 1950s. It
is now known that SF6 is a potent greenhouse warming gas with one of the highest
global warming potentials (GWP) known. In the presence of metallic contamination
can seriously reduce the insulation performance of a GIS. Particularly the
influence of free metallic particles has been regarded as an important issue for
many years, since free particles are considered to be hazardous because of the
possibility of initiating a voltage breakdown. Transient over voltages due to
lightning voltages cause steep build up of voltage on transmission lines and
other electrical apparatus. Therefore GIS must be able to withstand such
voltages without breakdown of insulation. As GIS operates under power frequency
voltages. Lightning impulse voltage of 1050kV superimposed on power frequency
voltages of 75kV,120kV and 132kV are applied to 1-Ф GIB and the maximum movement
of Cu, Al and Silver contaminants are obtained with and without Monte-Carlo
technique for SF6 gas SF6/N2 gas mixtures as dielectric medium. |

Abstract |
Distributed loops are highly regular
structures that have been applied to the design of many locally distributed
systems. This family of networks includes many important configurations such as
rings and circulant graphs, for examples. In this paper, we examine the problem
of extending a (unidirectional) distributed loop so as to tolerate any given
number of node failures. We study this problem when the parameters that define
the loop are given numerically (as constants) or symbolically (as variables). We
demonstrate our formulation by developing (fault tolerant) solutions for
daisy-chain networks. Our results show that the solutions obtained are efficient
(i.e., either optimal or nearly optimal). |

Abstract |
This paper presents an improved direct
torque of induction machine based on artificial neural networks. This
intelligent technique was used to replace, on the one hand the conventional
comparators and the selection table in order to reduce torque ripple, flux and
stator current, on the other hand and the classic integral proportional (PI) in
order to increase the response time period of the system, to optimize the
performances of the closed loop control, and to adjust the parameters of the
regulator to changes in the reference level.
Then we estimated the rotor speed using the Model Reference Adaptive Control
“MRAS” method based on measurements of electrical quantities of the machine.
The validity of the proposed methods is confirmed by the simulation results. |

Abstract |
Experiential marketing provides customers
an opportunity to engage and interact with brands, products, and services in
sensory ways in today’s competitive markets. This research demonstrates how
experiential marketing fits in with the current consumer behavior and attitudes
through cell phone usage on Turkish consumers. In the research, the steps and
elements of experiential marketing will be clearly defined. A questionnaire is
prepared content with this research and is applied on 612 cell phone users as
participants from various regions of Turkey. Sampling of the research consists
of 612 participants of 18-65 age groups. The research data are analyzed in the
program of SPSS 10.0 and t test, factor analysis, frequency analysis,
correlation analysis and variance analysis are performed. The study indicates
that the subjects on which the participants show attitude at higher level are
related with the brand experience. In addition to this, it is seen that the
consumers evaluated the products in the frame of the social status symbolized in
their cell phone preferences in the experience of association. |

Abstract |
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is a recent
advanced technology of computer networks and electronics. The WSN increasingly
becoming more practicable solution to many challenging applications. The sensor
networks depend upon the sensed data, which may depend upon the application. One
of the major applications of the sensor networks is in military. So security is
the greatest concern to deploy sensor network such hostile unattended
environments, monitoring real world applications. But the limitations and
inherent constraints of the sensor nodes does not support the existing
traditional security mechanisms in WSN. Now the present research is mainly
concentrated on providing security mechanism in sensor networks. In this
context, we analysis security aspects of the sensor networks like requirements,
classifications, and type of attacks etc., in this survey paper |

Abstract |
This research is intended to develop a
model of multimedia application, particularly a puzzle game for Interactive
Multimedia Course. This model should encourage students to integrate all
information resources to develop a multimedia application particularly puzzle
game. The puzzle game application generates input and processed data as a
server-side with Adobe Flash. Flash is a powerful and dynamic front-end and
great interface for server-side applications. PHP can launch server-side script
using Flash as a front-end to pass data and variables between the MySQL
database, PHP, and Flash to manage databases. Subjects of the research are
computer education, visual communication, and software engineering experts in
preliminary field testing, the informatics students at School of Multimedia
Technology Cendekia Abditama for implementation of the revised model in the main
field testing. Data are analyzed using the analytic descriptive method and
interpreted in a narrative way based on the research findings |

Abstract |
Both Distributed Software Development (DSD)
and eXtreme Programming (XP) approaches have gained significant Popularity. Both
DSD and XP method are growing trends as software business requires quicker
quality production at a cheaper price. Requirement Management (RM) is not easy
to perform even under the best of circumstances and it becomes more difficult
when performed globally because of the nature of distributed development
projects and the diversity of stakeholders. This article presents an
investigation of the possibility to integrate Requirement Management in
Distributed eXtreme Programming. One reason for integrating RM with DXP was that
XP emphasizes lightweight documentation in XP based development. We propose the
development of model and tool for executing RM in DXP that are required for
proper software engineering and that activity should not restrict the efficient
execution of XP method in DSD. |

Abstract |
Mobile wireless communication is the
fastest growing segment of the communication industry. However, it is faced with
the challenge of providing reliable high-speed communications due to channel
impediments which change over time in unpredictable ways. This paper presents a
joint decision feedback equalizer and diversity combiner called adaptive
diversity combining to combat the fast time-varying nature of mobile radio
channels. The results obtained showed that the proposed technique is robust for
signal transmission over mobile radio channels. |
