1.5 Scope,
We intend to develop an architectural design and implementation of a system from (at least) three perspectives -- functional partitioning of its domain of interest, its structure, and the allocation of domain function to that structure. It is an abstraction of the run-time elements of a software system during some phase of its operation. The system is composed of many levels of abstraction and many phases of operation, each with its own software architecture.
The document provides a high-level description of the goals of the architecture, the use cases support by the system and architectural styles and components that have been selected to best achieve the use cases. This framework then allows for the development of the design criteria and documents that define the technical and domain standards in detail. It is these detailed design documents that will guide the development of the actual Grid, Security and Linux Kernel content in terms of messages and services.
We intend to implement an infrastructure which will help build a computational Grid for solving complex problems like
High energy physics
Brain activity analysis
Complex Telecommunication Problems
